Muka Tangata Food and Fibre Futures hui – May 2022
Help us explore the possibilities of the future of the food and fibre sector.
Published 11/04/22
We hope you can join us in May for the Food and Fibre Futures hui. The focus of these is to get your input and advice on the drivers for change for the food and fibre sector and the impacts this will have on the future of education and training.
Help us explore the possibilities of the future of the food and fibre sector. This work will shape future-focused vocational education that will meet the needs of your sectors through developing well-designed Workforce Development Plans.
We are looking forward to hearing from you about the changes and big issues you expect to see in the sector, and how industries in the sector will evolve over the next 10 years and beyond.
You can still let us know if you are planning to attend via this form: Muka Tangata Food and Fibre Futures Project RSVP.
Hosted by: Muka Tangata Chief Executive, Jeremy Baker, and team.
Facilitated by: Melissa Clark-Reynolds and Kiriwaitingi Rei of Future Centre NZ.
Each session will start with a mihi (welcome) followed by refreshments. You will then move into the hui for an introduction of who Muka Tangata is and the work that we do, leading into a 90 minute discussion on what the future of the food and fibre sector looks like. Bring your ideas, predictions and any wild cards to the session.
We are keen to engage with you. This is your opportunity to have a say in how training and education is shaped up for our sector. We appreciate your contribution to the sector and look forward to hearing your views at these hui.
